Anne & Ridley Enslow

Join costumed colonial musicians Anne and Ridley Enslow as they perform "Holidays of Our Founding Fathers" featuring songs about Washington, Jefferson, Hamilton and other founding fathers and how they celebrated winter traditions, such as New Year's and Christmas in the 18th century. Anne plays a colonial instrument with over 100 strings called the hammered dulcimer and Ridley plays a violin made in 1776. Both performers sing and an entertaining description precedes every tune explaining how it fits into American history: an engrossing and informative performance!

Location: Elizabeth Public Library – Main Branch – 11 South Broad Street Elizabeth, NJ 07202.
