Man's Fascination with the Planet Mars

Mankind has been tracking the motion of the red planet across the sky for millennia. Up through the early 20th century many of us were convinced that Mars was inhabited by intelligent life. Books, movies, and radio shows managed to keep that dream, or nightmare, alive. John Andrews from the New Jersey Astronomical Association will chronicle our love affair with the Red Planet.
