Cinco de Mayo Extravaganza

The New Brunswick Free Public Library, in collaboration with Lazos America Unida, New Brunswick Cultural Center, and Rutgers Center for Latino Arts & Culture, presents their annual Cinco de Mayo celebration. The library will have a movie showing, art exhibition, story-time by Benito Juarez, face painting, arts and crafts, and a piñata provided by Professional Latino Firefighters of Central New Jersey: New Brunswick Chapter. A parade will begin at 12:30 p.m. from the library (60 Livingston Avenue) to Monument Square Park, where festivities will continue with music and dance performances as well as food vendors until 6:00 p.m.. Everyone, of all ages, is invited to come celebrate with us!
