Mindfulness is the caring, compassionate, non-judgmental awareness of our own experience- our thoughts, emotions, physical sensations and what is going on around us. We can use mindfulness awareness to reduce our reactivity to stress. Mindfulness meditations are practices that help us to nurture the skill of mindfulness. Learn formal and informal practices including both stillness and moving meditation and how to incorporate them into daily life. No experience or special clothing is necessary.
