Small Business Workshops

Two workshops will be offered on this day: Business Registration & Reporting Business Income will start at 10am and at 1pm: New Jersey Sales Tax Seminar.

Business Registration & Reporting… will teach you: different business structures, registering a business in New Jersey, legal entity vs. individual structured business registration, and how to report your New Jersey business income.

New Jersey Sales Tax Seminar will cover the following: taxable products and services, New Jersey exemption certificates, collecting New Jersey sales tax, and filing sales and use tax returns.

Everyone is welcome at the third floor’s sensory extravaganza and overview of library services for all children, especially those with exceptional needs. We’ll have ongoing open sensory play, an ongoing outdoor activity, a modified storytime at 2:00, and an information session and tour for parents at 12:30. Bring the whole family and join us at this inclusive event!

Spring International Film Series - Theeb

Join us when our International Film Series continues for the Spring season. "Theeb", a Jordanian thriller, in Arabic, about a Bedouin boy's perilous desert journey during World War I. Directed by Naji Abu Nowar.

Location: Plainsboro Public Library – 9 Van Doren Street, Plainsboro, NJ 08536. 

Audience: Adults, seniors.

Special instructions: Screening is in the Community Room. Second screening will be on Friday, March 31 at 7pm. Popcorn and water will be available.

Citizenship Class Registration

Citizenship Class Registration

The Literacy Volunteers of Mercer County will be starting a free 10-week Citizenship Class at the Plainsboro Library this March!

Registration will take place in the library on Thursday, March 2nd, at 10:30 AM.

The class will cover not only the naturalization application process and interview, but also other important aspects of citizenship such as language and practical knowledge. This is honestly a wonderful opportunity for anyone who is eligible to apply for United States citizenship.

The class will run from March 7th-May 18th, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 10:30-12:30.

Location: Plainsboro Public Library - 9 Van Doren Street, Plainsboro, NJ 08536.

Audience: Adults, seniors.
